To mark the 20th anniversary of Montenegro’s Independence, Montenegro Duty Free organised a special celebration across its stores at Podgorica and Tivat airports, bringing a touch of Montenegrin tradition closer to travellers from around the world.
The initiative was designed to highlight the rich cultural heritage of Montenegro and the unique products that reflect the country’s identity. Throughout the celebration, passengers had the opportunity to experience elements of Montenegrin tradition through cultural presentations and encounters with performers dressed in traditional national costumes.
At the heart of the activation was a carefully curated selection of local products, showcasing the craftsmanship, flavours and traditions that have shaped Montenegro for generations. Developed in collaboration with local partners and producers, the assortment offered travellers an authentic glimpse into the country’s heritage while supporting domestic brands and businesses.
As one of the first and last touchpoints for many visitors travelling through Montenegro, Montenegro Duty Free remains committed to promoting local products and creating meaningful experiences that celebrate the country’s culture, traditions and people.
This special activation served as a tribute to Montenegro’s journey over the past two decades and an opportunity to share its unique story with passengers from across the globe.
