As part of our ongoing ESG commitment, the Montenegro Duty Free team recently returned to the Animal Shelter and Recovery Center in Blizna to deliver a donation of animal food and spend time with the shelter’s residents and dedicated caregivers.
This year’s visit highlighted the growing need for support, as the shelter is currently caring for more animals than last year and is operating close to its full capacity. Despite these challenges, the team at the shelter continues to provide a safe environment and daily care for animals in need.
For our colleagues, the visit was an opportunity to see firsthand the impact that community support can have. Spending time with the animals and learning more about the shelter’s work reinforced the importance of giving back to local initiatives that make a meaningful difference.
We are grateful to the shelter staff for their warm welcome and for the incredible work they do every day. Through initiatives like this, we remain committed to supporting our local community and contributing to causes that create a positive impact.
